I am a traditional Chinese girl. As one of the girls, Florence in Brides Wannabes, I did not have much experience in dating ( 2 including my current husband). I was married to my first husband when I was 25 after university and have 3 kids with him. I divorced him because he wanted to have an “open marriage.” I am now married to a handsome and romantic guy who is almost 7 years younger than me. Yes, he is 6-foot tall and a Karate Master. I was 39 when I married him and we have been happily married for 13 years. He raised my kids with me.
What I am trying to say is: a lot of Hong Kong girls think that age difference is a big issue, I can tell you that my husband and I do not have any gap in terms of age. Rather, since we like to do things together with the family, he has become a great father to my kids. (It was his 1st marriage and he does not have any kids himself.)
I might just be the lucky one since I got this true love at the age of 37. ( yes, we dated for 2 years before I married him)He was just my friend before then since I was married.
Ladies, you have to become friends first and not evaluate someone so fast. It is always the best time to observe someone than making a fast decision. Like Florence, she did not even give anyone a change to get to know them but declined any future friendship with these people. That is being superficial and shallow.
