It’s unbelievable how superficial the society has become. I agree with Tammy’s comment. Why is everything about what’s on the surface, and what happened to inner beauty? It’s ridiculous to see that this show kept encouraging those girls to pretend someone who they were not. Using layers and layers of make-up, plastic surgeries to transform them just to meet a guy. Eventually, you’ll just turn back into the same old you. How long can you pretend for? I like what Florence said in the beginning, if the guy loves you, he should love you for who you are, not someone who you pretend to be. And why is it naive to look for true love? Isn’t that what relationships are about?
Now I know that this is probably just a show and everything is staged. But in some way, it reflects the view of some girls in Hong Kong. It’s so sad how shallow people have become.
